Link Building Tools

    I'm about to launch into a sizeable link building campaign over multiple sites and need to be able to organize things a little better than just using excel. Does anyone know of any tools where you can;

    - list all the links built for individual sites
    - check the PR of the links built
    - check the links are in place on a regular basis

If I'm going to buy links I don't want to keep having to manually check that they are still in place.

Thanks in advance for your comments!

I'm not completely sure if this is what you are actually looking for, but ahrefs.com is a site I use quite often and the information provided can be exported to spreadsheets. Take a look.

Wouldn't you be better off buying some decent tools that can automate a lot of your link building process? That way you will end up spending much less and not spending much time to get links. From experience link building services rarely deliver what they sell, because of them building links for hundreds of other customers they tend to have big footprints and get deindexed or taken down by webmasters pretty quickly. The best way is to build your own links.

we had to develop this thing in house, needed the same kind of database - checking the links are still in place is an add on - you can make the database in microsoft access, use mysql to upload it to an interanet... but yea - we had to design and build it...

i do think that the seo spyglass suit of programs has something, but essentially, nothing will do what you need it to as link building is so unique to the people and website doing it.

Nothing will do what you want to do, unless you have programming skills and create your own software.

I think you could do most of that with Scrapebox, although it isn't really made for that so it wouldn't be totally smooth.

What tools would you suggest? I think automated link building is probably not the best method to go down as you're probably looking at getting blacklisted on Google SERPs.

That's what I was afraid of lol. It's probably about 10-15 hours coding work though..

Well..... thank you for your input :p

I would agree... although when posting on a forum I think it would be nice to define your answer in a more informative manner. It would be useful for the people reading this forum to understand why it's risky.

    Thanks for all your feedback

Automated tools are great considering your requirements, much better than manual work and you get a much better amount of work done in the same amount of time. But what I am not sure is that if you build so much links won't the SE get suspicious and ban you or something? I mean because of this I still stick to manual submissions, it may be slow but at least I don't have to worry about anything.

I agree with what one poster said - I've used a lot of tools. From the ones I've used and what you're trying to accomplish - I think a mix of excel + scrapebox would be your best bet. Theres a lot of softwares that will check your keywords you're trying to rank for but I cant think of many that check to see if your links are live, what the PR is etc. Scrapebox will do all of this, but you will need to keep your list of links in excel, or even folders/subfolders with text files of the links.

You should have an experience with developing software program. Then you can create a customized software what you want.
