As long as there is money, people will be bought. As long as there is media or religion, people's perception will be manipulated. Not sure what you believe the solution would be, but honestly, I do not see it. Whatever you show people on the tube, they accept as fact and whoever is up there in the political ranks can be represented as whoever the people want.

Though he campaigned on dismantling Bush's foreign policy, when it comes to the war on terror, he not only continued it, he stepped it up a notch. Iraq, proceeding exactly per the plan laid out by his predecessor. Afghanistan, massive troop surge. Pakistan, more drone flights than ever before, more human intelligence than ever before, and Osama Bin Laden and several of his top henchmen rotting in hell. Sure a partisan could say he is just following the detailed script left for him by Bush, and that he has managed to screw up everything not included in the script (like Libya, Syria, Turkey, Egypt, and our relationship with Israel), but to that partisan I would say, he had the option not to follow Bush's script at all. God bless Bush, Obama, and America. Never forget.

Let me apologize in advance for the dated nature of that poll. It was taken back when Obama's approval numbers were still in the mid 40s. I would love to see more recent polling, now that Obama is under 40. How is Kevin Rudd doing these days? Still at 90% support? LMAO. Now there is someone deserving of jail time. Exactly the opposite, I always advise the republicans to come out of the closet. I was just pointing that your fondness for Bush might be the result of the fact that you and some other members share common personality characteristics with him, namely talking tough, big hats but sissy in the hurt, scare of standing your ground and crying for protection.

Anyway, with the help of some psych counselling, you could probably learn to feel less ashamed of your feelings of homosexuality.
