This contest is worth $20 through Paypal only to the best logo. As I setup my new site layout in the next couple of days I will need a fun yet great looking logo. The name is "Political Crush" and I want to have fun with it. The site is a news/community/forum for politics. The 2 main colors are: #660000 Dark Red #FFCC33 Yellow Deliverable format is .ai and all fonts used must be converted to outlines and delivered in CS4 format. I will be sleeping soon so in about 12 hours I will comment on submissions. My thoughts are having the word political crushing the word crush, however, I am open to creativity. I am looking for something that is not child like. No goofy fonts, something that says the site has a serious side but looks great enough to print for offline advertising as well. This is a politically neutral site so let's keep the logo that way also. I don't want a square logo, it should be rectangle but I won't give specific dimensions. If I forgot something please just let me know, otherwise let's have a great contest! Adam

I don't think you understand my first reply to this logo. This "entire logo" isn't what I had in mind, but in addition to that the clock serves no purpose. So I wouldn't select this logo at all, it's a 2 minute job with font and a simple gradient...this doesn't rise to a level of even consideration.
matt I am loving this so far. This is great typography. Unless someone can go beyond this i would say you have my vote. I will give it another 6 hours before I make decision.
unyango, totally not what I was going for but to be honest, I am digging it. nice use of the soda font. Now you have given me a different angle...lol. It's close but I would still pick matt's at this point because his is really "finished" but I can't keep my eye off of unyango's.
Guys, I am hitting the rack. When I wake up I will see whats up here. I am loving what I am seeing and this is obviously going to be a very hard pick.
