ive reinstall wordpress and its deleted everything on my site.

    ive reinstalled wordpress and i cant get my site back. i had a lot of information on it..

    how can i get it back i dont have a backup.


    any idea?

    Try looking in phpMyAdmin to see if the old database is still there

    Many hosting companies do a periodic backup hurry to check this, they may overwrite old backups.

    How did you reinstall wordpress ? did you overwrite the database, made a new one ?

    If you just reuploaded the files you will need to make sure the config.php settings are right

    Or you could ask your hosting company to restore it from a backup if they offer backups

    i reinstalled using quickinstall on host gator.

    i can see the files are all there in the wp-content but they arent showing on the site.

    Hostgator can restore your site they charge tho more info Here maybe contact them on live support and ask they might do it for free :p

    If you really stuck with this I could take a look at it for you for free I cant promise anything tho, Just send me a pm

    go to your phpMyAdmin and check the database, see if your site data is still there first
