Hello, Yesterday when I login to my pp account. Paypal show a message 'your account has been fully restored'. It mean my account never get blocked again if I dont break terms, right?
There was probably a problem with it before and they restored it -- or you logged into a site that just got your password (aka a phishing site).
Sounds like the classic phishing deal...I had the same thing happen to me when I was a noob to PP. I alerted the scam team and I was reimbursed all of the $4.75 that was in my account.
no, its not scam site. Im go to paypal.com and login and got this message. In the past, paypal send me a letter for confirm location and I done it. Then pp ask me get survey about 'limit access', I done it too. And I got message when login pp next time.
another question. My pp is premium, why pp still limit $500 withdraw a moth? I think when update account to premium, no limit. Can I send money unlimit/moth ?
To raise your withdrawal limit you need to complete 2 out of 3 steps: 1. Add and confirm your bank account 2. Add your SSN 3. Add a credit card and complete the Expanded Use process. Just click on "View Limits" next to your balance and it should walk you through the process. PS. those instructions are for US based accounts, non-US accounts a governed under different rules
Look, Paypal always freeze unverified accounts that have money in them. Whether you break terms or not. Why? 1. They require you to pay $1.95. For you it's nothing, but all millions of users paying that is something 2. Paypal has a lot of regulations. You must be in a certain country etc. Many people simply cant comply but want to still use paypal. In their ignorance they put wrong address in their account etc to have it. And paypal doesnt really care. But once they see there is actually money in there, they awake and freeze the account. If you don't put money in your account but use a credit card, they freeze your account and the payment(s). They also request from seller documents of what the reason of payment is. Now, if you can provide them with everything they want, photo id, utility bill and address verifiation, credit card verification, and the seller proves the reason of payment is within their terms etc, then fine. They unfreeze the account/payments (If the seller complains and say why, they just tell him their privacy policy dont let them to say reason of freeze, and they wont give them any money for their loss because of this action) However if you cannot comply, in any way, they can take your money (or the sellers). Freezing unverified accounts must actually be quite an income for paypal. To answer your first question. Are you clear now? yes, for a time. After that you reach a certain amount of sales, that means periodically, paypal will freeze again and get another chance of stealing your money. So have a habit of not having too much money there....
Don't worry about being frozen by paypal .I think i've been frozen 3 times in 3 years. It's always their fault and I really yell and scream on the phone. If you believe you're right, you shouldn't take crap from them. It's your money.
PayPal is 99.999% automated and they have a number value for your every action. The formula determines everything. Once your account is limited(and then restored to normal) you are almost-forever flagged as a risk and it will be that much easier for your account to get limited/suspended again. You don't need to, they have alternative options.
