That's because you don't want to see the answer.. Because given answers are not what you hoped for.. Since its not 'your truth', you pretend as if its not there.. Its a common practice in propaganda.. It's not about American turning against Muslims.. It was about Americans seeing the ugly face of radical Islam that Israel has been struggling against in it's modern history. It was a PR opportunity for Israel to send it's message against the radical Islamist and jihadists. And they wanted to cash this opportunity. Since Israel has been fighting against Muslims nations ever since it's formation, facing death threats on regular basis, as well as struggling against the Islamist terrorist groups like Hama, Fateh and Hezbollah in recent times, it hoped that 9//11 bombing would make western people and media to understand the suffering of Jewish people in Israel.
TBH, the answer to his question was in the first paragraph of the article in the OP. Since you didn't catch it, he was pointing out the fact the 9-11 terror attack swung public opinion dramatically against Arabs and Muslims, indirectly helping to improve public opinion of the state of Israel. It is interestingly the same tactic you use to try and justify what a good group of guys your terror loving relatives are, "Just look at those Jews!". Of course, as was pointed out, one the dust settled, public opinion reverted a bit. Now only 24% of Americans wouldn't want an Arab as a neighbor as opposed to well above 50 after 9-11. Jews probably maintained their solid 96% approval rating during the same course of time. Not sure how this helps you.
Bin Laden wasn't the only fundamentalist. Muslim world is full of radical Islamist, I'm afraid. It was not only about the Bin Laden, it was about the bigger picture, in fact the whole picture, involving countless terror groups around the world. And it didn't only involve Islamic terror, it changed the opinion and view against other organizations like LTTE as well. Western countries started to recognize act of global terrorism by various groups, it drove sympathy for every nation, those had been fighting against terrorism since way before 11/09/2001.
I'm aware that public opinion increased, it's quite obvious, it's in the article, I want to know about all the other benefits, if they exist. Whenever a crime is committed, we always look at the beneficiaries.
But you both didn't answer to this question. Anders Behring Breivik was a radical Christian extremist and he bombed Norway earlier this year. The motivation behind Anders Behring Breivik Norway bombing was religion yet no one used so called term "Christian terrorist". To me it still remains dual policy. You both didn't get my point. I was saying whether if someone says that he is doing terrorism on Allah's will or god know what rubbish we shouldn't believe it. On one hand you says that they are not humans yet you say they are muslims
The crime was committed by religious nut cases who thought the beneficiary was Allah, but he'll probably deny knowing them.
The other obvious benefit is the sell of Arms.. TAR-21 Tavor is a mean mofo... Well, the biggest beneficiary is Al-Zazeera.. Prior to 2001, hardly anyone knew it's name at global level, let alone watching it.. After 2001, it went on to become one of the most well know news network all around the world. May be you should look there. He is a radical Christian extremist.. He has done an inhuman act.. But he is a Christian none the less. You want to paint it as 'Christian terrorism' and that has been answered.. 'Christian terrorism' is not organised as 'Islamic terrorism'.. You don't see a highly organised, large group of Christians wrapping a bomb on their chest, blowing some part of world everyday and shouting "All hail Jesus Christ". Again, pointing fingers on others will not restore the trust. You can sit all day and point fingers at others, but it won't change anything. You need to point your fingers at Radical Islamist and hold them responsible for the prejudice Muslims are facing now.
Please don't link me with Terrorists. Pointing fingers at radical Islamist doesn't gonna solve problem either. And what do we say about the zionist that are doing terrorism against palestine. What do we call them? Who was responsible for killing of so many innocent people in Iraq? What do we call them. That was also an act of terrorism. Blood of an innocent will always speak whether he is Muslim, Christian, American or Pakistani. Human in Human and they all are equal
I'm not linking you with terrorists, defensive much? No pointing fingers at them wont help, but shooting them in the head does
Don't know the exact rate, but it has been declining for some time. They like him in congress though, he lectures them.
His poll numbers shot through the roof after he was well received in Congress. It seems Israelis think having a good relationship with the US is important.
Hamas , PLO , PIJ , Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade , Jund Ansar Allah , Fatah al-Islam or As-Sa'iqa . Quite a lot of options to choose from . Ansar al-Islam , Abu Nidal Organization , Mujahedin-e Khalq , Tanzim Qa'idat al-Jihad fi Bilad al-Rafidayn or Al-Queda . Again plenty of options . In other news tiny aliens might live in your ears singing like MJ. Gasp ... Shock ... Diplomacy ... they are so evil OMG
