I had an idea but wanted to see if other people thought it was ok and within the TOS etc etc. I want to set up the home page of a site as a 'portal' from which users can select to go to 3 different parts of the site. There'd be a 1-2 sentance intro, but other than that, no real content to speak of. Is there anything wrong with putting adsense on a page like this? Would it be considered a 'landing page' and therefore be something that you could get banned for?
You cant put adsense on pages without content. Why dont you write some content and put it on the bottom of the page ? That would make it easier to control what kind of ads you are getting also.
Technically his content would be providing the links to his other sites. We're not talking about an MFA site. I wouldn't expect to get very many clicks from it though, so there's not much of a point to put them there.
It's definitely not just a MFA site. There'll be plenty of content and what not. I'm just thinking of having a landing page/portal type thing up front as the first thing you'd see if entering the url.
You can give a brief introduction about each of the 3 sections you want to link from the home page. This way you'll have content also and you wouldnt be violating any TOS.
I've got a first draft up. I think it'd be ok. Based on my reading of the TOS everythings cool, just wondering what others think. here's the link: http://edu-hq.com
