I find that trying to get listed on DMOZ is a waste of time. People wait for years and still nothing. Whilst is offers a great benefit I think that you're waiting so long it isn't worth it. They seem to update infrequently meaning a lot of their listings are old and outdated. People also start to get impatient with their service submitting it more than once and jeopardize their chances of being listed. I don't think I've ever met or spoke to anyone who has their site listed on this directory. You can get much more out of other directories and get listed in a matter of days. Might as well make the most of those while you wait!
Great Benefit? Waste of time? Can't be both son... But now you can say you've talked to someone listed in DMOZ! (and I didn't do it myself!)
