Hi, I have domain which is http://thrillhosting.com I bought this domain to resell hosting but have seen lots of people complaining on not making money... So I wanted to know if i could use this domain for something else like.... Webhosting directories? Webhosting forum like this digital point... (but only related to webhosting) Please let me know what would be the best use of this domain and another thing if iam to sell this domain would I make anything its very new domain.
I was recommend building a domain around your website not your website around a domain. But to answer your question, the domain goes perfect with hosting provider as you stated. You can host or you can find an outsourced hosting company that will pay you for each client you bring in. Good luck.
You could post a few reviews of the most popular web hosting companies like HostGator, DreamHost, BlueHost and others and link them with your affiliate links. Then promote the hell out of it. Web hosting is an oversaturated niche now though, it's hard to compete.
Exactly. Short names aren't always the best. Its heavy competition in this area. So Do prefer 3 word domain and follow different marketing strategies. That might help you better.
I think your best bet is to promote a reseller hosting package on the domain. JFJR is right, build your domain around the site not the other way around.
Just the opposite. Matt Cutts says (leader of Google's Webspam team) that brandable domain names are preferred over keyword-rich, long and hardly remembered domains.
You can try build a web hosting blog with your domain name, (re)write some tutorials, tips & tricks articles, and put some ads to generate income. Good luck!
I also vote for this idea. You can redirect for more hosting companies ... so you would know that you make money this way.
Have it work for you the other way around. If you have a good website then it would be really great if you could get recognition and do business from having visitors come to your site, have some ads and then you should start to see some sort of cash flow.
