Well lately I have finished (nearly finished) my fashion site. I have just finished the forum, I am thinking of making a nice looking homepage soon or maybe just a picture in index.php so people click on Enter Forum and they get redirected to the forum. Hi xTrYiPiCz---, You can start adding different or related categories for your forum page so that those who are interested in fashion can start asking questions and share their ideas which is of course, related to your niche. I'm kinda bothered about the numbers found at the bottom part of your forum. Maybe you can sort them out into your future forum categories depending upon what topic you wish to include there.

The forum looks good! With a project like this, though, it's much more about the community you can build than the aesthetics, so I'd be curious to hear more about what you plan to do to attract new users to the forum. I don't think you've done anything wrong in setting up the site, but without a clear strategy for encouraging new posters, it will be tough to get it off the ground.
Well that is my current problem my friend. I need people/user that are willing to post constantly. I have just bought vBSEO for the site, but I'm still waiting for the traffic to come. I have also asked some people to post on my site and leech threads of other sites Any tips on how I could get more user and more traffic? I have already made a facebook fanpage and twitter account. But I think I am also in need of some1 to help me out with the forum, it's kinda hard to manage everything, I could also need people that constantly post on the facebook fanpage and or twitter.
I think the best thing to do would be reach out to other bloggers in the fashion niche and explain your forum to them. Don't send out the exact same message to 100 bloggers, but do identify those who are likely to respond (ie. not the biggest authority bloggers) and send them something personal. Maybe you could offer to write a guest post about fashion on their blog, and include a signature inviting fashion fans to share their thoughts on your forum? Also, do you plan to have a blog with fashion posts or fashion articles in addition to the forum? Good frequently updated content naturally markets search engine visitors and can raise the visibility of your forum. I don't think Twitter or Facebook will be able to do any of this on their own. When working in conjunction with an established blog, however, they can add a lot.

Although I think I need to do a lot of seo work, as my site is currently not really high ranked on google Question: What do you think a picture as the homepage on www.fashionmypassion.com a big picture about 2 girls shopping or something like that, and than the can click somewhere on the picture to enter the forum, at the bottom there is my Facebook fanpage and twitter, so they can click on it to follow me. Neat sitename, cool concept. The only thing that doesn't really convince me is your site's styling: the logo isn't really fashion related, and the theme looks rather boring imo...
