Hi everyone, * I know it might sounds like a stupid question but I just want to use the best interface for what I want to do. I don't want to change everything in 1 month. I always created websites, I have never done a blog. I want to create one blog: that is simple and looking good. I want to put articles with images, little color in text and links. * Also I want to put adsense ads or other ads to make money ( like at the top or bottom or sidebar or in text of the articles ) Should I go with free method like weebly, wordpress or use a paid script or something like that. Give me your suggestion and feedback on the interfaces you used. Thank you in advance
I use wordpress for all of my blogs as its one of the most search engine friendly scripts with a massive following of developers that create useful plugins and themes for free. You should use wordpress on your own domain and many web hosting companies will offer this script within their one-click install module so its easy for you to install.
Yeah, i too go with wordpress due to the following reasons.. 1. More customization 2. Lots of Plugins to chose from 3. Eaze in managing a wordpress Blog ..
Wordpres is preferable because it's very customization, easy to use, SEO compliant and open source. Also, it has so many free plugins that you can install.
I will look into it. Wordpress seems like one of the best with the option you said to me. Also, which language I should choose since I'm targetting main traffic from Europe. Should I put a translator on the blog or create different blogs but just the language different. Thank you
wordpress is the best one..plus most of the hosting servers offers you one click install for wordpress ..there are plenty of themes available..for wordpress itself..you can clone it..and get the one with most of the plugins pre-installed ..
I will suggest you to buy your own domain ( Keyword oriented is better) and if know wordpress, use it. I think most of the blogger using wordpress for blogging. If you go in depth, Here are some good tips which a blogger need to remember. 1. typography : - To arrange the content in paragraph which can draw the attention of reader and enhance their curiosity to read the complete text. 2. keyword placement. 3. Hyperlink. 4. URL structuring. 5. Image position. I think these are some good tips which is helpful 4 any blogger.
I always use wordpress for blogging sites, it has many kind of templates and simply get the job done!
Wordpress is the most capable platform....................................however blogger is better for SEO simply by its parental nature. It's owned by google and thus is optimised to index new blogs and posts at rocket speed. If I was to choose though, I'd opt for Wordpress.
Wordpress is the "de facto" standard and an extraordinary well-written software. Open source world has a lot of crap like phpbb, joomla and others, but wordpress in a way higher league from the code quality perspective. And with its huge community of users you have the highest chance of finding a plugin already written for whatever you need or finding a solution to anything you'd search for.
WP is the best. But Blogger is the simple one, easy to use, and no need to worry about hosting. You Also allowed to put adsense ads or other ads to make money.
Well that was overwhelming. Yes, I have heard that it is best to use wordpress. The problem is that I grew up on blogger. I now know how to use it very quickly. So in my case, I am going to stay with blogger. Let that be a lesson to you marketers. First in can hold residual sales because of understanding an interface. Thanks.
Google owns Blogger and might favor it's sites a bit in ranking, it allows you to add your separately acquired domain name to the free blog site. So you get your portable branding for about $10 a year. The great majority of blogs use the wordpress engine (Blogger is a bit simpler) you could get your feet wet using it for free at wordpress.com, most paid hosting provides a one click installer for wordpress, where you have more complete control of the style and plug in extensions. There are tons of blog hosts, most free, some may have better community sharing functions than the ones I mentioned.
