I was in the very same situation: My husband already has his Adsense account for years. When I decided to have my own website I applied for an Adsense account myself. Naturally, as a married couple my husband and I have the same street address and the same phone number. What happened was that Adsense support rejected my application. I than contacted them via their forum where many people were complaining about this issue. A moderator came by and gave me a special link to their support team. All I had to do was to confirm that I had never had an Adsense account in my name. That was all. 2 hours later my Adsense account was approved and I got a very nice email from one of the moderaters telling me that thins were sorted out. Conclusion: you CAN have your Adsense account even if someone shares the same address.
One address can have one adsense account only. But you can have two accounts on two different addresses.

Ok, I decided not to use the same address. Each one of my friends is gonna apply individually using their separate address which shouldn't be a problem. But what if we log into 2 accounts from the same pc, this is definitely bound to happen in my case even though we have multiple pc's, as we all work at the same place.
