My site has PR 0, but 1 month ago it had PR3. I received a message about unnatural links in webmaster tools, it says : What should i do ?
hello I think First, let's point out that having a site banned from Google is a fairly rare event, reserved for particularly egregious behavior. Usually, most objectionable offenses result in a reduced search engine rank; not an outright ban. Your page may still be in Google's index, it's just no longer residing in the upper echelon of the search results.
Have you understand the google's reply? Do you have any outbound link that is irrelevant to your site ? just do some research yourself to find out the issue. If you can resolve the issue, then dont worry you may get possible PR soon.
If you have been penalised I would try and identify the problem and rectify it. This will put you back on Google's good side as you are now inside big G's guidelines.
I would stop the activity that got you to this point. Google didn't mess up on considering your site banned. You must have pissed them off with spamming links and such just to build PR. Google is cracking down on this big time now. I would just STOP linking or whatever it is you are doing for now and resubmit your site to Google after a couple months. After that, don't start back with the spamming and linking for another 4 to 6 months. Be gradual with it not so aggressive. Just my two cents.
do what the email said. if not sure what raised the red-flag, no-follow all external links to commercial websites. you can leave links to quality sites like wikipedia and stuff dofollow
Follows the Google reconsideration program. Remove the irrelevant links from your page, remove ad sense, Page which have been deleted by you and still on search engines put all them in robots.txt and remove from Google index. Check the all HTML errors and remove it. Webmaster tool also show the internal and external errors as well so find out the solution. Remove the Bug script (if you put by mistake) from your site.. After all Go into reconsideration and once you request for it. Do not request again it can be count as spam.. I hope you understand Netprro Australia
I also have a site which was banned silently by Google, I think! As it lost page rank and did not show up on the Google Search any more! What should I do to get it out of the banned list? I have made some changes for my site, got rid of all the outgoing links, made a fresh site and sent a mail to Google. But they have never replied. Now my site is still not indexed! I am looking forward to hearing your good advices! Thanks!
You may be better to start a new site, that way you wouldn't have the old problems. Get a new google account first though, and a different ip for hosting.
is your site banned if your PR has gone down to 0 but it comes up when you search for sitename in google???????
If I search site:domain.com my site does not show up! So I believe it was banned! I use Google webmaster tool for this domain but it was strange that Google did not send me any message regarding this penalty!
Quit all the black hat seo techniques you might have been using either intentionally or unintentionally. The spam links and duplicate content are the main reasons for these kinds of warnings and penalties.
You may not necessarily be banned just had your PR amended to reflect your new status, try and find out what that unnatural traffic was, and try to eliminate it
Not the best situation to find yourself in. Like people have already said, try starting over. Before deleting any link, visit all of them and check them. Try to find the features that allow fast success; you know, things like instant PR increase, large amounts of visitors every day, automated link exchange etc. These are features that Google doesn't like, because it badly affects it's search results (not qualitative sites are placed on the first place, which is hated by users). Then wait about a month and keep posting descent material. I advice you to "cut" your site from every search engine that you used in the past. Just disable the pinging feature for a while. I have searched for your site and Google still has it, so don't worry about being deleted completely. Then start pinging again. With fresh new material and no connections to unwanted sites, Google will be pleased to show your site again. Of course, you'll have to increase PR rank from the low level. Good luck!
