Hi im new member in Paypal small question Paypal take fees in receive money? Amount received:$18.00 Net amount: $17.09 USD Where is my 0.81$?
When the sender sends the payment as for 'Goods' or 'Services' , you have to cover the PayPal fee. It's usually around 4.2%/transaction. You will not get any fee when the sender sends a Personal Payment.
not for all countries. ONly for specific countries. If you are from india, then there is always transaction fee whether it is personal or not.
You can check your country from their policy of payments and see what charges they will apply if you receive the payment. They always charge if its non US or UK.
I think PayPal fees are the same no matter what account type you have. See the first sentence in this help topic.
I guess paypal has their own conversion rate that totally differs from the standard conversion rates. This really sucks....specially when small freelance receive their payment. I heard that Indians cannot keep their paypal balance more than 7 days. I am not sure this is true or not but such rule has to be changed....
The charge was different when back to year 2008. As i know the charge is same for all type of account since year 2009 if not mistaken
Yes paypal does charge fees for the payments you receive , unless the sender sends it as a personal payment which ain't allowed in all countries.
Well,Paypal will charge fees for payments you recieve. If you want to avoid Paypal fees, tell your clients or buyers to send mass payments or personal payments
