changing host will not solve this issue because of two reasons.
    1) Slowness is because html source fetching function -- now time varies from host to host where backlinking webpage is hosted. (it takes avg 1.5 sec). During this time its just waiting and nothing else and sometime it has to wait for 30 seconds of host is slow enough to respond.

    2) Multithreading is not available in php and this tool is written in php. So i have to go for html source one by one and wait otherwise more than 200% time can be reduced.

In future i'll think of putting this tool in asp.net but its still little away in my list.

Current hosting has powerful servers and every request is completed in less than half second after fetching html source.

Do you understand my point ? :)

Most likely it is experiencing heavy useage right now. What do you expect when you make an announcement in a forum with so many users?

I can assure you that this tool works very well, although it appears to be limited to 1000 results. (probably a wise choice)

    That is... extremely long.

You should have it do the processing in the background and email it to them when it is done.

Thanks Mong, I am a new member to the forum and just saw this thread. I am lucky that I got this tool, this is a fantastic tool. Do you have any Site Positioning tool to watch the ranking of a site at Major search engines.
