    Hi Guys,

    Need your help here,

Just bought the site & I got the sql files & wordpress content.
Then Login to my cpanel, go to database management screen, & create a database .

After that go to PHPMyAdmin. In PHP MyAdmin click on the database name I just created on the left to open it.

Then on the Import tab, import the sql fileto the database. login to my hosting with FTP, locate the site directory and in it the wp-config.php file. Open the file and edit lines with db_name, db_user and password with the values that I just created in my cpanel.

I've changed the nameserver to my hosting as well.

I thought I did correctly, but when I open the wordpress admin address, there's no Login page ?when I checked in my cpanel, the database also has 0.00MB .

1.Do I need to create add on domain in my Cpanel?
2.Do I need to create new wordpress installationj in My Cpanel?

Appreciate if you can solve my problem.

    Thanks

Your database name, username and password is changed.
So, in wp-config.php file change database name, database username and password.

Are you also changing domain name of the site??

Follow these steps. Let's same domain name is domain.com

Ask following files from the site seller:
    1) WordPress Database
    2) contents of wp-content folder.

Now follow these steps on your hosting:

    1) Create / purchase a cPanel account on domain.com

OR add domain.com as addon domain name in cPanel.

    2) Install WordPress on domain.com using Fantastico / softalucous / manually.

    3) Upload contents of wp-content folder (which you got from seller) in wp-content folder of domain.com wordpress installation.

    4) Login in cPanel >> PHPmyAdmin >> Select database of WordPress >> Import the database which you got from the site seller.

    Done!!!

Probably your db name , password or server address is wrong. Edit wp_config.php with the correct info.
