Ok so here is how it is, Chitika is not performing well. I used to use adsense which got 50k impressions and made over 180per day. Chitika on the other hand will make you $1.80 per day. I had high hopes, do not go into that programme with high hopes, at all, ever, it does not pay well compared to adsense, you can get that much from one click with adsense. Just try to stay within adsense TOS, even though its a b.ch of a TOS, you'll be doing yourself a favour because you can't really monetise chitika that well, and the guys that say you can suprise suprise, affiliate link. will test it out a bit more and update
you cannot compare adsense with any other network, and you will not make what you were making in adsense in any other network, that may be you have to understand, your traffic might not converting well in adsense as well thats why they blocked your account, and any other network try to utilize same traffic, but with less rates, and they have no way to pay like adsense, which accepts only converting traffic. I doubt you can make that kinda of money in anywhere, for a lot of others chitika works good
chitika is toooo big a waste that it doesnt even reveal how many click your ads generated. its better to stick with adsense on top of your pages and some good CPM paying networks at bottom of your page

I might have been a bit premature in my evaluation. As I can see relevance now, it appears extremely relevant for shopping and actually useful for the end user. Because i myself would click them IF i was a shopper searching to buy products (obviously as publisher i wont) but i can see it not as an advert but a useful service. now its just time to see how much it pays per click on this. But for products it seems good, stores etc lets see how it goes. noticed that ALL of the UK ones are shopzilla links through chitika...wonder if they'll pay somehow expected an extremely low ppc
Well in my opinion Chitikia is a little far from good, because they pay less and they not answer to contact emails. As alternative to adsense I advise you to search something else.
I gotta agree with the whole AdSense can't be compared with any other network. I mean, it's a giant among giants. Even with the yahoo and msn networks teaming up they still don't hold a candle to what google has... and honestly that kinda depresses me because Google is a D*ck!!! I really hate them when it comes to their ad network... they are like the kingpin of Ad dealers and we are all the fiends who have to keep coming back to them again and again 'cuz nobody else has the "good stuff" like they do. Alright, that made me laugh reading over it again but you all get my point... *coughs* even though I still use AdWords
chitika can't compare to adsense ever. Did you got banned from Adsense ? Nothing compare to adsense at the moment
Agreed, adsense is huge. There are a lot of people that pay for ads through adsense, hence higher commission per click.
Man nothing can come close to Adsense. I think they able to pay that much to there users because they charge hell of a lot from Advertisers(adword) I used Adword and each click cost me 5 dollar, and quite a lot for impressions, at the end of the day 100 usd per day.
What you wrote on the thread title is really mismatched! I can tell as I have used Chitika for two months and only generate 2$ out of it on the other, getting 300$ in adSense.
