Looks very good, you can be really good at template making, consider checking site that sells templates. I don't see a reason to use adv at a portfoilo page, makes it look unpro. Good Luck!
the placement of video and the video itself i questionable - first it may be disturbing for some to get the music playing without having turned it on (personally i found it disturbing), second - the video is uninformative - you can't reall see your works in detail so it becomes kinds useless. the rest looks neat to me good luck
On your home page under Web Desigining change me to my. Throughout your site you use an apostrophe to indicate plurals i.e. design's and logo's instead of designs and logos. Apostrophes are for possesives not plurals. Correct spelling and grammar are just as important as graphic design and layout.
