    Hi there.
I use both Adbright and text link ads for promoting my web hosting business. I have to say both of them have been fantastic for bringing in traffic allthough i must confess i have spent alot of money with both of the services. I am just wondering what other members of DP think about both of the services. One thing about Adbright that i dont like is the fact that they do not take paypal and if they did take paypal then i have to say i would spend alot more money with them as they are great. Text link ads on the other hand is very cheap and does get my site some nice traffic if i spend the right money on placing a text link on the right website.

    what are your thoughts?

    Thanks

As a publisher, TLA is great, I have it on 3 websites. I only bought a link on other website. It drives traffic, but not as much as I wont. I will be using it more often on the next 2 months. With adbrite I only have publisher experience, but without good results.

Why would you go on paying for a service that gets you no extra traffic or sales?
I would consider on-page optimization as well here. Is your website clearly written and customer friendly? Do people stop their buying process halfway through signing up? How many do? Can you change the page in a way that makes it more likely they will continue? etc.

I bought a number of Text Links from TLA. It was a package deal, and like JasonB above, the results were not great. No PR improvement came as a result nor was there a great increase in traffic. There was some additional traffic, but I could not justify the expense.

Another person who is exactly like me really. No pr improvement and only a slight increase in traffic. Has any one used Adbright as an advertiser?
