Logo Contest 48-72 hours Paid PayPal

    Hey everyone,

    I am in need of a logo. The company name is Gator Organics and sells organic/natural plant and turf fertilizer products.

    I am looking for a color scheme that has a "natural" feel to it, maybe greens and browns but I don't have colors picked out.

    I would like to have a cartoon-like alligator figure if possible, similar to hostgator.com's gator logo figure but no blatant copies.

    I am open to original designs too.

    The contest runs for 48-72 hours and the winner will be picked then and paid $30 promptly through Paypal.

    I look forward to seeing your designs.

    I just had a thought.

    I don't want to squash people's creativity so if you have an awesome idea for a logo that doesn't include a gator figure then go ahead and submit it too. I'm sure that there will be some that I'll like.

    I'm constantly impressed with the creativity that the participants in this forum shows.

    Where are your entries guys?? Maybe I confused everybody by saying I'd like an animated alligator.

    I was just looking for a cartoon-like figure. host gator.jpg Something similar to this example.

    I hope that clears things up a little and hope to see some entries.

    I like what you have started, could you change the color and style of the font. That is too much green for me.

    Could you also maybe make the gator figure standing and move it to the left of the words? I also had a thought of maybe having a sun behind the gator.

    Shortbus408- I like your layout but I would like more of a full figure of the gator in the center. That looks more like a dinosaur to me.

    Dakouten- I like the gator that you designed. I'm not crazy about the crossed arms. Can you put the gator's hands on its hips?

    Also could you incorporate a few plants in the design?

    Other than those two things I like your design alot.
