My penalty hit around August 2nd and it hit my network of 12 related sites all at once. Google definitely is getting aggressive with trying to clean up search results. Interestingly they started getting more aggressive around the same time they started entering the affiliate business in a few niches. I think they realized the profit potential was too massive that they decided to pull a Walmart and take out all the smaller competitors. Google is too big that it will keep growing and growing like a virus.
What kind of penalty you been experiencing ? Your website's main keyword and sub keywords suddenly went down 5 or 6 page in google ?
I have similar concern,my site was kicked from the first page to the 3rd .Im wondering what went wrong..the last article submitted was 2 weeks back and perhaps that may be the reason of the drop.Now that I have resumed my link wheel and article submission mission,I hope to see my site back on the first page.
Yes I have seen this to with some of my client sites. Its not a good thing. But I'm sure it will pick up again at some stage. Just like with any business etc.
Now my site main page gone forever from top 10 page. I think its the end its something to do with panda updates
