    @IsraeI
Even though everyone criticizes you and calls you every name in the book, you still come on here and fight for what you believe in.Though I don't agree with you on most issues,I have to state that I do respect your courage.

WASHINGTON — We have met Neanderthal and he is us – at least a little. The most detailed look yet at the Neanderthal genome helps answer one of the most debated questions in anthropology: Did Neanderthals and modern humans mate?

some neanderthals possibly did interbreed with homo sapians. most likely the neaderthals as a species died out because they were not the fittest. it's hard for humans to be hunters because of their size and bi-pedalism and they need tools and weapons to compensate. there is not much evidence that neanderthal have been gatherers and their tools were possibly not as advanced as the homo sapians tools as they developed during the same time period.

it is not likely that the entire neanderthal species interbreeded with the homo sapians.

The cranial capacity of the neandies was larger than ours on an average.

there's something to homo sapians becoming gatherers. they had more time to develop their minds instead of being on the hunt. the carbohydrates helped the human body to stop depending on ketosis for energy to the brain. with time and an easy to get energy source, homo sapians developed better tools and weapons and developed altogether.

although the neanderthals had bigger brains, they happened to have not developed better tools than the homo sapians. perhaps there are connections to more food amounts for the homo sapians than the neanderthal based on long distance running like i mentioned in my previous post. more food provided more susteinence for the brain, that helped with learning about plant growth and taming of animals.

there is something to body adapability for life. although the bigger brains were there, the means to develop it were not. the homo sapian's possible long distance running style provided all of us with better developed brains, although smaller. we only use less than 10% of our brains now, something that got us this far.

    survival of the fittest

The Neanderthals skull while harboring a larger brain than modern man was narrowed at the base above the hypothalmus area. The cerebral cortex was smaller.Speech would have been impaired and decision making slower. In short their larger brain was not as developed as ours.

It will all be made clear with the new prototype and the homo-sapiens as the missing link.

What about the whales and other endangered species? They're still there but could have disappeared or will. Also other species have been extinct by man.

I don't know what happened to other human species, probably they mixed too much with the other kinds, but anyway that doesn't matter much, does it? If you're interested you could see where the scientific research is at, personally I don't care too much about all that, whatever happened, many things happened and will happen, I'm not so bothered.

    You mate, surprise me..

    Alright then, role reversal

I believe neanderthal disappeared because God felt they no longer mattered. God created human and he needed space and resource for his new born children. So he called all the Neandies back.
They are right now in heaven playing with these -

Oh God i can't believe this stupidity . As homo sapiens evolved he exterminated and assimilated the homo neanderthalis . If you want want the details go back in time and get them .

it's funny how this is always cited as a flaw in science. It was science and scientists that exposed a conman, not the other way round. It was science that found the truth.

As for the original question, over 99% of all species that have existed have become extinct. The real question is why didn't we. And that is likely due to our intelligence.

From what I understand, they were outnumbered, but didn't go extinct. They mixed with the other species. So we are a result of them mixing with the other homo species.
