Finding Advertisers

    I've got a blog that is getting good traffic and should be "advertiseable", i.e. I should be able to find companies that would be willing to advertise on my site. Moreover, I can prove my traffic with both Analytics, Quantcast and my hosting company.

    But I'm more the academic type. Does anyone have any examples as to how to do this? Any examples of sales letters? Ways to find advertisters?

    Any advice would be much appreciated.

    sign up adsense or cpm networks. How much traffic do you get?

    I don't want to sign up with adsense. I used to have it, but stopped. Also, this is in a potentially profitable niche: I don't think I have to accept the low payouts for the typical CPM networks.
