Hello, my name is Jack. About 2 months ago I started selling on eBay. I started just selling junk around the house that I didn't need. To make a little extra money for gas. Then I bought my first 30 items to resell. And I've bought more since then. So far I've made a little over $1200 in sales. Not a great amount, but it's something. I think I'm having a hard time finding things to sell for a decent amount of profit. It's so competitive and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I really am passionate about selling on eBay. I want to do this the rest of my life lol. I want to start an eBay business. I would like to speak to anyone who has been in my position and is now successful, or has been successful and quit for some reason? Or any words of advice. I would like a mentor or someone who is selling full time and would let me do some work for them so I can learn. I would pay parts of my profits like a eBay consultant you'd pay 15% to 30% I could do that, but would like to learn how and what to do differently than I am already. Thanks in advance for all PMs and words of advice. I started a little blog/open journal about my journey. Haven't posted a lot on it lately. But it's got the beginning of my journey on there. It's www.eBayCareerBlog.com
Hi Mystic, come over to my forum and post up your journey etc. I used to sell stuff on eBay for my Ecommerce business and know a few contacts that might be able to help
hey mystic wonton, is it just the products you're having trouble with.I have been an ebay seller for a long time myself, but I always used stealth accounts. So I would run like 10 accounts all at once...increasing my income 10 times.List low risk items on most of them and then some times list a high risk item that would leave me with huge profits.let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for your replies. Yes I am having problems with finding profitable things to sell. I've bought several different things to try. And I've made another $600 profit. But out of everything I've sold, I've probably lost $500. Buying things that will not sell for how much I thought they would. Like kids clothes, and off-brand sunglasses
I agree with you... no one would like to share their valueable suppliers to somebody they not familiar
