I'm looking for a submit button similar to the style of the "Sign Up" and "Learn More" buttons on the Disqus homepage. The button needs to have the text "Calculate" and use either the font Arial (the font used throughout the site) or the font Century Gothic (the font used in the logo). I feel that Arial would probably look better. I'd like a nice text effect like the Disqus buttons preferably. I'd like the button to have 3 states: normal, hover and pressed. For the aforementioned Disqus buttons you can see the separate states here - http://mediacdn.disqus.com/1314305112/img/marketing/homepage/cta-buttons.png. The dimensions of the button can be approximately the same as the Disqus ones. The primary colours of the logo are #2067B6 and #007F01 though the website uses mostly tones of gray. However, I want the button to be very obvious and visible so it'd probably be best to use one of the hex codes given as a base. Feel free to produce a few colour variations. This colour scheme designer is a useful tool for experimenting with colours. I think that a lighter blue would be more suitable The winner will be decided on 28th August and paid by PayPal. Good luck to all participants and I look forward to seeing your buttons.
Hi here is my try, colors can be changed with single click. full link : http://i25.lulzimg.com/072522.jpg thank you kiran
Thanks for your entry but these are too basic and the colours are all wrong. I absolutely love the style but could you try using the hex colours provided? Lighter/darker shades of that hex code are acceptable also. These look really nice, I prefer the ones with white text. I'll let this run for a bit but this is a really good entry. Pretty much exactly what I'm looking for.
^ My Entry. As you can see, I didn't completely copy the original site you mentioned. I gave my own twist to these I hope you like them.
Sorry for the delay. I am deciding between kiranheartbeats and chinmay.sriv's entries. I will post the winner tomorrow.
The winner is kiranheartbeats. Can you please message me your PayPal e-mail address. I've not yet decided which of the three colours I prefer so could you please send me all of them as both separate images and as strips of three (with transparent backgrounds).
