WhoisGuard protection email

    I want to contact the owner of a particular domain name, but the domain has a whois cover. When I check the site on whois.sc, there is an email like this one displayed:



    I wonder if I send an email to this email address, will it be forwarded to the real domain owner?

    whoisguard will redirect the email you have sent to the domain name own's email. all of my domains have registered whoisguard service to block email spamming. :)

    Really? If that's the case then spammer would simply copy the email and send spam to you as it will eventually be redirected to your email right?

    Uh, well, I tried it once on a netfirms whois protected email address (for my own domain). The email never reached. must have been stuck in the so called anti-spam.
