there is some problems on stats i didnt get correct stats

 

me too, stats move very very slow like it is freezen.......

 

the stats count instantaly or it need time time to be counted ?

but im sure i got more than 100 download on a file but it give me 0 downlaods !! !! !

Hey,

I know that some of you are having problems with stats. As you all know, there was an error that occurred over the weekend and have been fixed. However, certain people's account might have been affected more than others, so if there are any discrepancy that you see please do not hesitate to let me know. I'll definitely have it sorted out.

 

Such statements are not very comforting.
Either stats works for all users or they dont.
If only some people has problems with stats, the system is flawed.

And what about sales stats?
I had low sales this weekend. Am I affected by this 'bug'?

You need some sort of accounting system with debit / credit (double-entry bookkeeping system) which guarantees the validity of the stats.
Or at least re-run all stats for all users - or something.

BTW: I love FileSonic but not statements like this

Thanks for the advice, but we already have such a system in place. This is how we calculate stats if something goes wrong!

Over the weekend, the stats were fine, only the stats page wasnt working properly for a short while (as proof, the payments page was fully functional and whenever u got a sale or some downloads, they were updated there)... So rest assured, if there is anything wrong with your stats, we will know , we will fix it and we will inform you!

Now some accounts have small discrepancies, this is why Jake asked for people to PM him if they notice that. They don't need to be affected last weekend, it couldve been before

The statement might not sound comforting, but having 10 pages of post where people are constantly screaming "stats are not being updated" is probably worse. And there is no online system that I know of currently who do not consist of any flaws. It's just a matter of who has less flaws than others.

The last thing we want you guys to think is that we're taking your money and running away with it. I can't change past events, and during periods like this I can only re-assure you guys that our weekend problems have been fixed. There might have been few minor problems that lingered around and we have not caught it, but it doesn't mean we're not going to fix it.

Regardless of how you love to live in a perfect world, we sadly don't. At most we can do is fix what's been wronged. I apologize in advance if a correction to past errors isn't comforting enough.

but there is only a problem who i hate on filesonic

i upload some programs for example 10 programs , and i give links to same students .. (all who need those programs)

but whenthey download the 10 files , it count anly 5 file not 10 files and that what i hate !

 

zeus1, it depends on the geograpcal location of the downloaders some counts, others not.

 

On top of that I am getting PMs from people at forums I post that they cannot download what I post

 

I used the jdownloader after than I can't sign in to my account

We have detected some suspicious behaviour coming from your IP address (**************) and have been temporarily blocked.

 

My sales stats is very bad for few days.
This is very unexpected, almost impossible.

Chances of getting sales (new sales) is reducing day by day and its completely normal because most downloaders already have at least a free filesonic account which they renew when they needed.

When sales is too low switch to PPD plan and be happy with PPD earnings even though its incomparable with sales earnings.

 

Downloads are dependant on their unique IP address. If they're all downloading from one region (ex school), then we don't count all 10 downloads.

Make sure that you have correctly entered your login credential in your jdownloader. The reason for this "suspicious behaviour" is because of mis-match of username/password.

 

Suddenly you cannot expect just 5 sales when you get almost 30 sales every week.

Yes understood your situation but many got unexpected results which do not follow averages like a gradual decrease in sales. For my case I got almost 2/10 of sales when compared to July sales which is a sudden fall in sales stats.

 

I guess it could also be due to time of year aswell, people going on holidays and other things
