With blog commenting ensure that you are adding value to the topic being discussed or most admins will simply remove your comment (and your link)
Thanks for the love! You have to be extra careful these days when taking part in communities.. Especially when you are new. Good intentions can be misconstrued, even when you DON'T self-promote! There are also moderators and admins that like to power trip sooooo.. Be polite, be as relevant as possible, and only add what will really build up the conversation.. That's value. 8)
Haha.. I just noticed you said the same thing, Golf.. But, yes, that's important. There's no point building links when they won't last. The thing is that it's tempting to cut corners but you always have to think more about, "What can I give before I try to take or ask for something?" You don't want to be seen as a leech or spammer. It's always tougher for the newbie since everyone will be watching much more closely.. If you the wrong words, use poor punctuation, read like a page from Engrish.com, or even pass gas, your goose could very well be cooked. =oP
Blog commenting is the way to get back links to your website by commenting on different blogs but your comment should be relevant to the blog post. suppose your keyword is "ppc toronto" then just type it into Google and on left menu click on blogs it will open blogs on the selected keyword or you can type Blogs + keyword in search engine it will also display blogs relevant to keyword. Just give one link on blog it will take time to approve. Try to write short and informative lines for blog commenting it will be approved by the admin.
