    Cmon, you've been around here for a while and you still don't know that such domains are rarely sold? Also with that budget, you better off buying a premium domain.

    believe it or not this ad has worked in a few other forums and places and i bought some for $35k to $50k and before i watched some do this i even thought it was crazy so that's the only reason why i posted it here.

    And you also have to factor in some people that are hurting right now and are short selling like crazy.

    Yeah, some such domains get sold occasionally but not for $1000, heck I've seen a premium (one word) domain being sold for a million dollars.

    yeah but being the way DP is and not the way it use to be, I figured what the heck and do this ad more or less for kicks, I have the same ads elsewhere on more reputable forums but my price range is in the 5 to 6 figures.

    Yeah, DP is not the right place to buy expensive stuff. But I'm curious, may I know what you do with such domains? Besides it being easily memorable, how can that profit you? You say you're spending in the 5 to 6 figures range, that's is quite a lot and I wouldn't do it if I was you.

    That's exactly why I'm asking, you've just pointed out the reason. I have no clue why some people want buy such domains. It's just good if it already has traffic.

    ill shoot you a pm, but also know that not all domains are valued and rated the same, i.e. some domains - traffic, pagerank etc etc. has nothing to do with some domains value.
