I just registered the domain http://www.quicklayer.com/

I think it is kinda catchy and I would like to develop it, but I cant think of a site that would fit the name.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks

Sell it to a concrete firm ;)

You need it to be something you're passionate about though. Otherwise you might as well flick it on.

Both Fireworks and Photoshop use the term 'Layers'. Maybe you could create a tutorial site for Fireworks/Photoshop.

Just a thought. Good Luck and let us know what you finally land on.

Also, most high level programming languages (java, vb, csharp, etc) have design patterns that are referred to as layers. For example, you have the presentation layer (end user interface), business logic layer, and data layer. You might be able to go after something like that - like a more recent language (Ruby on Rails, for example) and market it as a quick layer builder.

But like sarahk says, if this is not your expertise, then you might sell it to someone who can use it like that

    I quite like it also.

You could possibly have a branding site. You know when people have graphics, you could easily have a script that skins their JPG and hosts it for them?
    Anti rip or something?

search a list from your root keyword, either quick or layer.

I guess, the list of results will give you more ideas. ;)

Thanks for the ideas. I'm thinking about using the domain for a firewall I am developing. They kind of work together.
