What is the Best Method to Drive Traffic ?

Hi Guys,
I really would like to discuss on what is the best method to drive traffic to a blog. I have done all the best for my blog, but I don't see any major traffic coming to my blog. Here are steps that I have done:-

1. Updating my blog regularly.
2. SEO for my blog.
3. Ping my blog after updating.
4. Updating my recent post to social network (Facebook, Twitter).
5. Article submission.
6. Promote to social bookmarking sites.
7. Blog commenting.

After I have done the above steps, I still don't see any major traffic and I wonder why. Maybe it's because niche competition or my blog is not attractive enough, so I would like to ask for you guys opinion to discuss what are other best methods?

 

It depends on how good you are. The method you use is good enough to generate traffic but you need to be good on it. Keep working on it and learning to get better result, Roma is not build in one day

 

Best method is update your blog regularly and submit your blog post in to top social bookmarking and social networking website regularly.

 

I feeling that Blogging is the best

Avoid Facebook (Adsense policies are against to Facebook) and concentrate on article submissions. You will get more traffic.

The reason for avoiding Facebook because Google and Facebook are rivals and Google doesnt like its customers advertising on its rivals site

Depends of which type of traffic you want. You can get thousands of junk traffic for a few bucks but if you want quality and targeted traffic, seo is the best and long term way.

Also, mind telling more about the seo method you used and the keyword that you're targeting? It's useless if you're doing SEO for you blog while the keyword you're targeting only get a little searches monthly.

 

yeah without any doubt these are the best advices regarding Traffic and SEO. if any one follow these rules then they can easily get a huge number of traffics.

just keep doing what you are doing .. patience is a virtue my friend

 

Best way is to continue updating your Blog and posting on your website and on top social bookmarking pages.

There are a ton of traffic generating tehniques!

Here's what I recommend you do:

Do your keyword research - find a few long tail keywords about a subject that you want to write a HIGH quality 800-1000 word article.

Then, go to such tutorial sites as tutorialized.com and submit your article there - it wil get you 100-400 visitors.

Then, take your little report and convert that into PDF. Put a few links inside that will point to your squeeze page or blog. If you have a product that you sell, make that report rebrandable.

Then take that report and submit to such PDF sites as scribd.com, docstoc.com.

Then, post that report into War room section of Warrior forum. Point them to a download page and put an optional opt in form there (you are not allowed to force the opt in, but you are allowed to make it optional).

After that, you can create a thread on forums from your article.

That's how I would get traffic
