INSPIRATION:
The inspiration for this logo of course was to go for a bold, modern, yet elegant, and simplistic logo
As you can see the letter "p" in ripe is symbolized as a slice of citrus fruit. Thanks for the contest!!

UPDATE FOR EVERYONE: We like the idea of oranges, leaves, pears. We are interested to see a few designs without any symbols too, like maybe fancy font with Photoshop brushes or fancy decorations/lines around it. Also, maybe a "square" shape orange on the left side of the title "Ripe" like similar to the Limewire fruit, but square shape?

@MrRoot, thanks for your entry but the font/design is too "fun" for our image. We want more professional/elegant appearance.

@gamelord, thank you. However we don't like the design very much.

@StewRockz, we like your shiny effects however we think your designs don't match our company image very well.

@alincatalin, it is simple and cool. However the food graphic is too busy and too many colors/shapes.

@metalbehemoth, your first 2 designs are very cute, but not good for our goals. Your 3rd and 4th and 5th one is getting closer but the font/layout is not our favorite.

@xto, your design looks very slick and professional. However we don't like the font so much and the letter "e" is a little confusing to read.

@thetrashpan, your first design is funny and cute but not professional enough. Your 2nd and 3rd design is nice and smooth, but not really matching our goals.

@mikosan, we like your idea with the leaves above the letter "i" but we don't really like any of your design choices for our goals.

@logos4all, we like your idea. However the leaves have too much detail - we need something with less tones, like 1-2 colors maximum so we can use for uniforms and business cards. Try the 3rd design again without the green line touching the letter "i" and simplify the colors/shapes of the leaves perhaps?

@kevster1, your design is too complicated for our goals, but thank you.

@maestria, we don't like those fonts at all, it is too busy for our design, but thank you.

@Citrical, thank you but we don't like that design very much.

@Qwest, we like your direction with the orange slices, but maybe on the left and not inside the letter "p" on the title, and maybe some different font.

@logorice, we enjoy your concept. Can you try the stamp on the left side with larger "RIPE" title on the right side? And try "hospitality" instead of "food & events" perhaps? Do you have a few more fonts you can try?

@Madara, your design is simple and nice. I think it has potential but I'm not sure what to suggest. Thank you.

@puttu, we like your orange idea, but the colors are too crazy and we don't like the font very much.

@damnidunno, your idea is cool but too much for our goals.

@Mr.Legend, that is a very awesome design if that is an original concept? However the font has too many leaves inside, should be without any leaves and maybe a different font - all letters same height too.

@alexcump, interesting font but we need all 4 letters there.

@br0th3r, I think your designs have potential. We don't like the glass idea. Your 2nd idea is nice but looks too boring/corporate. The 3rd one is a funny shape/layout but has potential if you remove the wings from the fruit maybe?
