Survey results from YouGov dotcom has predicted that Google+ shall become the second largest network site in the US within a year. With an estimated 16 million adults joining in the next year, G+ shall surpass MySpace, LinkedIn and Twitter. Michael Nardis, Head of YouGov Investment Products has said that Google+ is a threat to both Twitter and Facebook, with an already 25 million existing users and 16 million more to join given the stats. “Google+ is tracing a path similar to Facebook’s initial growth – building excitement in a core group of early adopters,†says Nardis. So, the obvious question is whether Facebook shall play second fiddle within a year or two.
Nice info buddy, i dont think so growth of google+ is better than any social networking, because google already have social networking like google buzz etc, need more energies to beat facebook an twitter
Google is just testing the waters for Social Media, and therefore a fully functional Google+ is not in the market yet. But more can be expected.
yes, a fully functional Google+ is not in the market yet. but at least the market sides will developed with another methods (IMHO)
It`s something normal , that g+ had such a quick ascension, due to the services already offered by google, as gmail, blogspot and others
Google+ is still in early beta stage with lack of functionality and reliability but it haven't stopped them from gaining so many users so far If Google will continue to develop the site and will start to promote it hardly via other services they have, then we can expect to see Google surpassing Twitter, but Facebook has grown too big for Google to catch it up anytime soon. But keep in mind that Google still have more unique visitors a month that Facebook, so probably it isn't that unrealistic
