The video you wanted us to see says "Embedding disabled by request Watch on YouTube". Why would that be ?
Aah, probably because I found it in Google movies (which I only found yesterday). They've probably made a deal with the producers to provide it ? Maybe they need to properly collect stats to producers? Maybe the uploaders selected it not to be embedded because they want to count pageviews. Could be lots of reasons I guess. I think that was a Journeyman pictures so it is a professional docco.
Nice video Bushranger. It affirms my thoughts on China, USA and Global Economy.. Ah sorry Eric, I don't know how I missed it.. The standard is the same as everyone else..
China is heading in the right path while US is showing signs of instability with the economy. I don't China falling anytime soon.
1) Average american salary is say 2000-3000$? average sweat shop salary is 100$...more than covers the cost of diesel 2) Work force = back bone of the economy...who is going to buy your product? robots? its about creating jobs for americans remember? no americans with fat salaries=nobody to buy your stuff 3) sounds like goooooobye jobs to me...again robots do not buy NIKE-s 4) patriotism stops at the wallet...outsourcing is a great example...people WILL buy for less because they have LESS...patriotism is like a suit people wear for fancy occasions so that they fit in with the rest of the retards...put the same NIKE-s on the shelf one is american made for 250$ the other is china made for 100$ and see how far patriotism goes... 5) yes but you are back to square one...having more money but things costing more is like having less money but things costing less...true in the first model more people will have jobs but its utopia...producers will always want to cut costs and increase sales...shops will want to sell more and not less, imagine having to stock up on 250$ NIKE-s that virtually nobody will buy OR stocking up on 100$ NIKE-s that will sell like hot cakes...not much of a choice there is no way for america to get the jobs back its just not feasible...they would, literally, have to leave capitalism behind and become a socialist state ...in capitalism the big $$$ dictate what goes on NOT the peole (leehman brothers is a fine example) ... your theory is flawed fundamentally simply because it relies on politicians giving a shit about the normal people and not the interests of wall street ...unrealistic to say the least @brum americans are fat...they, in part, make for a fat sloppy work force...their medical bills are outrageous and they do not work like a fit healthy 130lb chinaman...they average american has a "back pack" of say 60lb of fat on him...try working with that extra weight and see how productive you will be...30% of americans have BMI greater than 30 so , in effect, 30% of all americans are not suited for many types of work, compared to a fit 130lb chinaman...they need more food than the chinaman and they spend their $$ mostly on fast food and will fall ill very very soon...who wants a worker like that? its like having a car that guzzles gas like there is no tomorrow and breaks down very often and will die soon...just being realistic... on a side note america can solve its obesity problem by raising the standard for obesity to say over 50BMI instead of 30BMI this way less people will "qualify" as obese
In the case of our men, the extra weight comes from our penises. In the case of our women, it's their breasts. Silly boy. Go read the article that opened the thread. Beside their internal problems, if the west ever did stop purchasing Chinese exports for lack of cash, their thriving economy would fall on it's face. You may be happy when your assh*le employer goes broke, but it also leaves you jobless. China's advantage of a massive population will likely also be the foundation of it's undoing. Can't keep 80% of your people in poverty while 20% thrives. The wider that disparity, the more unstable the government.
I think China is still a very strong country. As far as I know, US borrowed some cash from China.. I'm not thinking about China is about to collapse, don't even think about 'what if ' LOL
It is a cycle. Economies, like the rest of the world, go in cycles. The same things that made America great before can make them great again. The problem is the dumbing down of the average American. Their fatness is simply a by-product of their lack of education. How many hours of TV do you watch per day? Recent statistics say that for every person's hour of television 22 minutes of that person's life is taken away. I will make this shorter... Not only is it possible for Americans to regain their freedoms and their jobs, history teaches that if they dont soon, they will in the more distant future. People are limited by their lack of vision, not their obstacles.
@obamanation i was not rooting for china...i was simply pointing out that the american jobs are gone for good... @blue star ent its a fundamental flaw in capitalism...the rich get richer the poor get poorer...wallmart says it all in one word...greed and competition...for something to change for the better a fundamental change in laws and politics and even a drastic change in the collective system of values is necessary...not going to happen in this century... @apocalypseXL official statistics: 30% of all americans are obese= carry a 60lb backpack of fat on them...try loading a backpack with 60lb of anything, strap it to your belly and go do a day of work and try to earn your 5000$/month its like having a V12 engine with only V8 capacity...its an outrageous waste of fuel and makes no sense...US jobs are gone for good...Euro jobs are to follow...
It's over for the American Bubble. To get it back Americans should go and earn what their competitors earn offshore.
Or they can put up some laws that ban/limit offshore production and outsourcing . Imagine that the whole vampire economic system would screech in pain .
Yah, thats what they said when Jimmy Carter was president too. One day it will actually be true, but not today. Not today. I find myself secretly hoping these unemployment rates stick with us for a while, which they likely will. The longer they are here, the more real change we will see in Washington. I suppose it is a bit like the Dem's praying for 10$ a gallon gas to get real action on getting off of oil. I feel so dirty.
How do they do that? err..you do know some kids got 4 years jail in your country just last week for inciting violence (that never occured) by Facebook don't you? Could be a stretch in there for you typing stuff like that in a public forum...just something for you to ponder...carry on.
While my country practically lay in ruin, I doubt "the man" is retarded enough to arrest me for stating that the American government rotten to the core and needs sorting out. I'm trying to find news on the person you're referring to, but there are quite a few arrested and imprisoned for doing something stupid on facebook. Do you means the couple of morons who tried to set up more riots? Even if you dislike Ron Paul, people need to understand that he's the best chance of turning things around. Spread the word, point out the media's disgusting tactics of ignoring him when he's owning the others in polls and debates and then vote for him when the opportunity arises.
Maybe this is the hatred promoting criminal he is referring to. Looks like Facebook policed itself in this case......
Hah nice one, wasn't expecting that. I'm just going to leave this here because I really like it: There will be problems in the near future as I can see these large internet based companies becoming the new bully corporations. When a business gains huge monopoly status, like google, their actions of censorship enters a legal area reserved for establishment institutions, in my opinion.
