I’m new to CJ and have a quick question. Can I modify the link code? When I click on get links, I see the code and one of them points to an image and the other the link. Can I download the image, host it on my site (for faster performance) and modify the code to point to my image (their image on my server) and keep the their link to the product? Example: They give me this code to use: <a href="http://www.dpbasdfw.net/click-6782491-10423529" target="_blank"> <img src="http://www.awasdff.com/image-6782491-10423529" width="120" height="60" alt="Gate.com Hosting Banner" border="0"/></a> And I would modify it to be: <a href="http://www.dpbasdfw.net/click-6782491-10423529" target="_blank"> <img src="http://www.mysite.com/image-6782491-10423529" width="120" height="60" alt="Gate.com Hosting Banner" border="0"/></a> Is this OK? Thanks!
they use their image-###### for impression tracking. I recommend that you do NOT do that. if you want to go that route, use their "keyword" links, those will allow you to use just the link and whatever image you want.
Same payout rates. I don't like the javascript links at all since I can't use them in my adserver, so I use keyword links. The payout rates don't change unless it's specified on the link that it's different.
I already did a similar process a lot of times to upload images banners to AdWords content network and had no problem. In several times I didn't used the keyword link and the only result is that I had no impression stat and CTR calculation: Sales was normal and see no problem doing this procedure. There is no difference to the procedure when a advertiser don't have the keyword link and you decide ignore the image and use only the click link (http://www.dpbasdfw.net/click-6782491-10423529) in your destination URL on PPC search Engine - a lot of people do it and there is no problem in this procedure. I already saw here a quoting that has a email from CJ support allowing this procedure ... I'm too lazy to search it now. What would be the risk of doing this? Will produce invalid clicks? Your sales will not be registered? Network Quality will contact you about this? No - there is no risk.
