I see so many posts here where people are struggling in the Search Engine game. The problem is everyone over-complicates the whole process. Here are some tips to get you on the right track. 1. Make sure your On-Site SEO is optimized for the main keyword you are promoting. This is very important. 2. Add Fresh, Unique, QUALITY, content to your site daily/weekly(depends what type of site you have) Keep it as fresh as possible though, and make sure it is UNIQUE, QUALITY content. 3. Keep a steady stream of backlinks pointing towards your site. I would say if you are just starting, don't stress to much about PR, or No-follow/Do-follow, just keep a steady stream coming in. After you get some links and see how everything works, then you can start trying to get quality, higher PR links. Thats it, just keep it simple, but be consistent. Hope this helps some people. Any questions feel free to message me. Best of luck, Justin
Unfortunately I do have to agree with you. There is little magic involved, it is just plain hard work and eventually brings back some good results when you are really committed.
Patience also helps. Some marketers easily give up when they do not see progress within 1-3 months, they don't know that most of the successful online businesses started with nothing too, until their business propelled because they didn;t give up
how long will it take for results from the time a number of backlinks are made to the time when actual serp move up?

In fact, now the domain name is very important to Google. Because I've seen a top-level domain top domain name parking preferred non-keywords in the title, I agree with everyone. They should be spread around. This article is aimed to understand why I have not pixels? I do not quite understand.
Normal link building plus adding quality articles in your blog will add up the backlinks towards your site.
I think someone noted it before but I forgot to mention this in first post. Having the exact keywords you are targeting in your domain helps drastically. Not always required for your main domain. You can just make a page on your main domain with your keywords. ex. www. yoursite. com/"Your Keywords you are targeting" Cheers
