google dropped my home page

my home page has been dropped from google search anyone know why ?

www.spotcream.com the site is 4 years old and always ranked by google.

 

Did you do any SEO before this thing happened? Also, how far is the drop? If it's the last page of Google, then your site may be penalized.

 

Do you sell links or ads. to others on your site? If so it may drop, our PR also drops by 1 but recover to what it was one weeks later, I don't know why, maybe you will experience the same.

 

Yes it was also happend to me. I lost my PR but after a week, I got my PR back.

 

since your site shows up in a site: search it's not banned entirely - just slapped. may or may not bounce back.

 

erm just to note guys it was a weird mistake by yoast plugin it decided to set my hompage as no index stupid stupid stupid lol

What have you changed recently ie, before the drop.

 

may be the content on the page is not relevant to the keywords used for SEO implementation.

 

Have you done anything with your site before or during the time in which this happened? if yes, then undo the changes. If no, then wait for a couple of days, maybe google might be playing with you. If it continues get some original and unique fresh content and get with them submissions.

 

My site also dropped now. It was in first page but now seventh page. Do you have any idea about suddenly dropping pls reply me ?

 

Build some high quality links to it, such as EDU links.

 

It may be due to other similar websites being indexed by Google, thus displacing yours...
