Why All People Referring Hostgator, justhost, bluehost, godaddy?

Why are you referring the website hostgator, justhost, bluehost, godaddy?

    I think a more correct statement would be they are claiming to offer unlimited diskspace/bandwidth because its a gimmick they use to attract customers who do not know any better. The truth is, if you sign-up with a company that is claiming to offer unlimited diskspace/bandwidth then you definitely run a higher risk of landing on a server that is overloaded.

    You will find most of the people referring them for the affiliate bonus. I also do, but I only refer HostGator for shared hosting, as they are really best in HostGator. I don't refer people for justhost or bluehost. Because their service is very poor comparing hostgator. And GoDaddy does not have good reputaion for shared hosting, but have very good reputation for their VPS.
    If anyone ask me for dedicated host suggestion, I answer them Softlayer without any thinking. 1and1 is a good solution if you are looking server from EUROPE. Singlehop is also good for DDS.

    My two clients are using GoDaddy VPS for over 6 months, and till now, I did not face any type of problem with them.

    This are companies which have invested a lot in the hosting industry. They have made a name, and if you just can't talk about them then you just cant say anything.

    But I believe even though they are buying all the top spots in the industry they are also creating chances for smaller companies to thrive, most of which still lean on them.

    No actually they are popular, and people usually recommend them, but I recommend other providers in my last reply like knowhost and vpslatch.

    if you digg a bit more you really can find a lot more good providers for you, with great price and support, best example of good shared hosting is stable host.

    It's obvious Hostgator is promoted by their affiliates. They can't have so many employees and relatives. There are hundreds of domain with the name Hostgator in them and promoting the company one way or other.
