is Alexa rank depend on which one?

i bought a domain and applied to verify alexa .

i saw its alexa ranking is about 2 core!

that's Ok. but when i kept their logo and alexa widget in my site home page

after 2 days i saw they reduced about 8 million only. so, what is fact?

just keeping alexa logo in my site is best to get alexa rank quick!

Alexa rank is depend on more traffic. If you get more and more traffic then you can get your Alexa rank good.

well it depends on how often you update your blog.The one who update there blog will have better alexa rate

 

Alexa ranking depends on the traffic coming through the alexa toolbar. If you can get good traffic then your alexa rank would improve gradually.

 

Alexa Rank actually depends on the number of visitors to your site who have Alexa Toolbar installed. Visitors without the toolbar don't help because Alexa can only gather info from their toolbars only. Hope this helps.

Placing alexa widget can dramatically better your alexa rankings, though it is not much of use, since it also gives out your rankings that can put off some visitors

 

It does seem to have an effect though but I don't see the connection.

 

get more webmasters to visit your website and your alexa will go higher .. (the majority of people having the alexa toolbar are webmasters), that's why webmaster related websites have higher alexa ranking ..

I have a website with alexa 120k, and it gets at least 5 times the traffic that another website of mine is getting with alexa 70k ..

so it's just useless ..
