Hello, I'm looking for a simple logo for a new and upcoming website. The website itself is a single page and extremely simple. The only colours being used are shades of grey so you have some freedom with regards to colours. Neutral colours would be preferred, possibly some tones of blue/green. I just want something clean and fresh looking that will fit. The dimensions for the logo aren't that important right now either. It would be nice if the logo could feature a basic icon or two. Please ensure you do not use any clipart or stock images. A basic vector would be preferred. Some ideas include a car, a calculator, a petrol pump, etc. Feel free to use other icons if you feel they are suitable to the theme. The typography of the logo is probably the most important aspect but a small icon alongside would be ideal. The logo should read as follows:- Thanks for your entries in advance. Thanks everyone for the entries so far, here is some feedback. Sorry, I don't like this at all. The text is barely readable. Thanks, I'm not too sure about this as a concept really. These aren't suitable but thanks anyway. Thanks for your entry but the cartoon style of the icon doesn't fit. This is the best entry yet, this is the sort of thing I'm looking for. I like the simplicity of the icon. Is it all your own work? Would you be able to try adding a car or petrol pump in possibly? Also, some text placement variations and font variations would be appreciated. I don't really like the arrangement, sorry. Could you try the text all on a single line with a smaller icon, perhaps?

First and foremost, I really appreciate the revisions guys, thanks a lot. I would say that so far the best entries are by Nitroactive Media and thetrashpan. Further feedback for everyone is below. I know I did say I wanted a simple logo but I think this is a little bit too simple, sorry. Yes, that's it - thanks. I think it looks much better now, any chance you could make everything a little bit smaller, it's just too... wide? I'm really, really glad you chose to submit another entry. This concept is excellent, I love how simple and clever it is. Another thing I like is the 'mature' blue and green colours. I think these sort of colours are much more sophisticated than the usual "web 2.0" colours. I do think, however, that the typography could do with some work. Can you try a different arrangement? I think ideally all of the text on one line would work best. If you could produce some variations in placement and font that'd be fantastic. I really appreciate you taking the time to do this. Is there any chance you could make the car red maybe? I think it'd look better. I prefer the font in the first variation thought I wouldn't mind seeing a few other possibilities. This site is targeted purely at a UK audience so the dollar signs aren't suitable. I'm not a huge fan of the gradient either. Thanks for your entry. What's behind the calculator?
