    i thought that every people always want to get backlink from high pr site

    but when they want backlink from directories , they do not care the PR

    so, where is the fact?

    Google count each backlink. But if your site is pointed from High PR site . then it means your site is popular on that keyword. Because a already reputed site is pointing you.

    Yes it is good to be linked to high PR sites but it doesn't hurt to be on regular directories. Every link helps...

    Link juice is essential to boost sites in the SERPs, without it you r site will never be seen. Try to stay away from sites that have been spammed otherwise your site may suffer.

    A PR0 link, is still a link it's just worth less. 1 high PR link is worth more than lots and lots of PR0 links

    Are you asking if it's worthwhile getting your site listed in directories such as DMOZ? If so, then most definitely "YES". Even though directories supposedly aren't held in as high esteem by Google as they used to be, they're still regarded as authority sites and are therefore a valuable part of any backlink portfolio.

    Directories from PR0 sites aren't bad, they're just not as valauable. They can also help to vary up a link profile and make it seem more natural. After all, most link profiles will have a range of links from a range of different PR sites.

    We need high pagerank backlinks to improve our pagerank. I don't think people careless with pagerank when they submit to directory. Directory has a big effect in sending traffic and it makes our site becomes famous and popular. People will read our articles and interested to our products.

    I care about the backlinks them selves, I check the quality of the sites, how many pages are indexed, how many good backlinks this website have and only then check the PR of the website as it's not that important nowadays

    High PR is important for me because I am selling links on many of my websites, so it make sense for me but it doesn't show the quality of the websites

    High PR back-links are too good but make sure there is no more obl(Out bound Links) on that page where you take links.
    For example : if you take niche Links from PR 4 but there is 100 or above OBL on that page and another site have PR 1 and have 10 OBL so PR 1 links are better than Pr 4 Links. so always try to take links from quality site which have less OBL.
