I believe a no follow is correct, but if you create a Facebook fanpage with the same name as your website or keyword, you can also get google rankings. I hope this helps.
Whatever links you get from the facebook are no follow links and thats is why it is good for increasing traffic.
I think You have to use Mozila Firefox browser with in that, In add-ons you search NoDoFollow so addons will be installed in your firefox then you want to check. Just right click, You will see NoDoFollow.
Hi guys, That was what I thought so far but in Google's Webmaster Tools I see some of the backlinks from Facebook Pages which I have no explanation for. Thoughts?
Facebook is a no-follow web site. But on marketing communications standpoint, it is very useful in attracting human visitors who you can engage and connect.
You can get a site to number one ranking on Google from no follow links alone. You need a natural looking link profile, and that means links of all sorts. Google even says they are paying more attention to links from Facebook and Twitter to determine rankings, do follow or not. You would be foolish to even care, just make links from everywhere that is quality, and relevant.
