Hey google bots have not visited my site since august 7 and my site traffic has been dropped to 0 from past 3 days, before it was about 200-250 and i post everyday unique content. And my page rank is 3 what might be problem?
First you stop the posting content and continue the backlink work. Sometime Google bots take more time to crawl, so keep patience. Check all pages of your site are working properly, for traffic.
Please sign in on Google webmaster tool. I am sure you will find the bug there. Solve that and Google will crawl your site.
Surf your site with google chrome and your site will be listed in SERP for sure :-D even files that you don't want to be indexed :-D
First of all, check you site with exact URL in the search box... if it does not appears this means it is penalized by Google for some reasons. If it appears, then check your robots,txt files if they are blocking the crawler by any chance.
I think the other guys are right about robots and site map, but on a side note, wasnt that around the time google did this random PR update? could be related. if so the bright side might be they do another update and set stuff back the way it was. Maybe they broke something.
Is your sitemap.xml upto date with the content and pages of your site, have you check your robots file disallow and allow as well as the link? If you are posting to top blogs or forums then your site would be visited. One last thing, check your .htaccess file
Check the broken links in your website and keep doing continuous work too, In addition to it check the place robots txt. if you placed that in your website.
Do concentrate in your off page activity and ping your website in different ping website definitely you get better result with your website.
