Double Column Sitelinks

    I'm sure some of you would have seen the introduction of double column sitelinks in the Serps?

    Personally speaking, it's great news if you own the site in question- they occupy so much space that users are really unlikely to scroll down further and check the other links :cool:

    However if you've not worked on individual meta descriptions, you better begin adding them as G's now showing them for all individual sitelinked pages.

    Definitely a great news for more exposure of a site who has enough authority and reputation to have sitelinks..

    On what basis does Google display these links that are in two columns?

    Sitelinks are automated, but you can block the ones you don't want using your Webmaster tools account.

    Block using Robot.txt? Then it will be blocked permanently. Or is there another option to do this in Webmaster Tool?
