Is here anyone a powerseller. I need to be a ebay power seller. My sales are $5000+ per month via eBay Is there any process to apply on it. Please explain...
I used to be one. There is no way to apply. They send you an invitation when you meet all the criteria. It takes more that just a sales number to get you in. You must keep your sales at this level for I think 3 consecutive months if I remember correctly and your feedback rating must be at a certain percent positive at all times as well. I don't remember what that percent was. If your sales drop below the minimum then you will loose the power seller status and have to re-earn it again. In my oppinion it wasn't worth much. Just made you look good to the customers. I don't remember any other perks but it was a few years ago and I may just be forgetting something or they may have changed something since then.
I'm not into selling on ebay, however... when you're in sales, any sort of sales, looking good to the customer and establishing trust is very important. it may just be a small image, but that doesn't mean it doesn't do you any good.
I was just speaking from past experience. In my situation, my sales did not change once I became a power seller but that doesn't mean it is like that for everyone.
I've been a power seller for a few years now. Only benefit I see is I get a personized newsletter snail mailed to me a few times a year.
I'm a bronze power seller. apunjak2, you'll probably be given silver powerseller status, you will be invited by ebay if you maintain your sales level at $5000+ per month for 3 months. Special powers? Not really, they mail you a certificate + you have access to the powersellers area where there are some tips, templates & tools. The powerseller icon is good to have near the username though
