I agree with feuwa. Smaller is better here. The smaller bounce rate means that a user bounced off after spending a large time on the site.
http://www.seozy.com/bouncerate-how-does-it-affect-your-seo/ I think the URL explains it all.. I recently wrote this article and I am sure it will help you a lot in understanding Bounce rate in a better way. Most of the people here have half knowledge about bounce rate. Sorry to say this. But no body is perfect. Even I am not perfect! So share your knowledge.
So I guess my 41.6% BR is not so bad then. I have to work on the lading page a little to get them engaged immediately.
I would work on your landing pages... keep them on the page as long as you can and get them to click through to your goal.
Hello Bounce rate shows that how much your site landing page useful for the users.bounce rage is that ,who visit your site landing page and close it without any single click.so if your site have low bounce rate that means its very good news for you.so we can say that bounce rate of your site should be low as possible as.if your bounce rate is high then you should do changes with your site landing page.
Bounce rate should be less, because if your website's bounce rate is higher it means that your website don't have quality content for visitor stay's it.
Bounce rate for an average site is 35%.If it is more than 35% means bad and less means good. actaully bounce rate give ideas about the customers satisfaction with your site. Bounce rate is the percentage of visitors which left the site just viewing one page in less than 5 second .
Bounce rate means how much time the visitor stay in your website page. If your website bounce rate is below 40% that means Good.
It should always be lesser. At the starting point it may be high but after some days it must come down and then that is the good sign.
Bounce rate concerns really vary, and the lower it is, the better. What is more important is that you analyze how people come into your website, look at the places with high bounce rates and improve them, look at the places with low or 0% bounce rate and pattern your other pages with it, probably because it works.
I think it all depends on your content. If the user finds everything on the page when s/he lands, there no need for her/him to navigate through which results in a high bounce rate..
50% is acceptible. Have a low bouncerate is better than high bouncerate. Low bouncerate indicate that right people access the right website.
Less than 50 is usually considered as good bounce rate. Bounce rate should be less, the lesser the bounce rate you have, more good it is
The lesser is better, but if you are somewhere between 45 to 60, it means you are on an average.. try to improve more. You will succeed gradually.
