@d4rk0n3, already people said they got payment from a different paypal account. even a noob knows its against paypal TOS to use multiple accounts. they will be terminated when paypal finds out about it! try looking through paypal TOS if you still dont trust me, am not here to search for you!

yeah, do post publicly from whom you got it, so Paypal can check their official thread here at DPoint and see which other accounts they have to block out

anyway, if such side-measures are being taken, there's clearly something wrong

you should all consider in this whole deal that PAYPAL is the big P.O.S. oron's fault looks rather secondary, since Alertpay continues to work with them normally, right?
If you have a site - start promoting Alertpay banners, so people start using them over Paypal or at least have an account there too.
File-hosters and their affiliates should say ENOUGH to such an imbecile behavior from PP (certainly not displayed for the first time) and start doing business only with those who want to do business.

@peter9: alertpay is a pretty unknown service. People use paypal to pay for Ebay purchases and many other things, so I don't think that few banners would make them skip to alertpay. Paypal has almost the monopoly when it's about online purchases, while alertpay, webmoney etc. are relativly new...

Last few days i feel deja vu. 1 year ago, sharingmatrix collapse & difficult birth of filesonic

 

I got payed today tru alertpay, meaning they are alive. Shame on PP in every case.

 

If FriendlyKnight could be more official about the current situation that would be cool, i mean if they indeed had to re-create a new paypal account as a "work around" on being suspended, that means that they will be suspended again within a few days when paypal realizes what has happened.

Also all the subscribed payments on the old oron paypal account are they now gone? I've been working with oron for well over a year (yes before they became "big") and i've earned many rebills, and now they are all lost, wtf?

Also was this the reason sharingmatrix changed their name back in the day to filesonic? Do anyone know exactly what happened?

Yeah, it is true, the size of paypal... can't be helped. I just think we should our little bit to make alertpay bigger, at least when it comes to this type of work.

I don't think sharingmatrix had the same issue. If I'm not wrong, sharingmatrix guys just weren't succeeding as much as they wanted in this business and other people offered them money for the take over. The new guys had a new earning/sharing plan in mind and really wanted to go down in file-hosting very seriously (much more than the previous owners), so they bought their already setup servers and the old sharingmatrix software, instead of starting from scratch. The whole 7th and 8th month last year was about restructuring the software into the Filesonic one - many, many bugs during that time.
There was no mention about paypal giving problems to old sharingmatrix before that.

I remember back then, many people advised to keep the old name, because something as stupid as named "filesonic" could never become popular hehe

 

So now its one week,...................no rebills .......................no sales..........................nothing has happened..............................Oron say nothing.........................Friendky Knight say Problem is solved,..........just a few Minutes........................paypal button on Oron site is not activated.................... and i have loss minimum 300$ .................Thank You Oron for the Special Summer Promo!! "K*ck Ass"

 

Two pp account is allowed for PP, We do not know exactly the case official oron right now.

this lack of respect and official correct information from oron to its uploaders who are ultimatley their source of income its unacepptable.

so im doing a final ultimatum to "Friendly" Knight and other members of oron support.

I give you exact 6 hours to tell us all exactly whats going on or ill imediatly move to other host to never return.

I know i earned some good money with oron but there are plenty of other hosts.
Ok they wont give you rebills but on the other side you will get 10x the hits and sales as oron is more expensive for less service (that dammed 20gb limit!!!!)

I allways have wondered how could a service in free competition and in a time of crises up their prices in 50% (when they passed to euros) and still maintain limits other hosts dont have.

Thats the main reason why nowadays is so difficult to sell orons accounts. I sticked with oron because i had a lot of past rebills coming up but now i think i lost them all in spite of what our Friend said. In fact he said a lot of things about this matter and none of them so far prooved to be right so...


I keep my ultimatum and any users who are reading this are free to join me.

Maybe it will make a difference maybe not but one thing is sure you must have respect for your partners or you wont have any at the end of the day

At this time we are working on updating our payment instruments in order to improve security and usability of the site. This may lead to an occasion outage of one of the payment options. Should you experience such a case, please use the alternative payment method.

At this time ORON is not able to accept payments via PayPal. We are sorry for this temporary inconvenience. Please note that payouts are still being made on our regular schedule. We are working to resolve this issue and expect resolution this Wednesday 17th.
