    Best way so far is to get a high pr backlink from a page with no outbound links besides your site link.

    Backlinks are the best way to get higher PR .You may have to consider to get backlinks from dofollow sites rather than nofollow sites.My blog is a dofollow blog with pagerank 2.
    Backlinks can be created via forum posts ,comments ,guest blogs,article submitting ..to get backlink from my blog visit moretricks.com

    The best would be to find high ranked sites that allow you to place link whether through article submission or some other way. Or you need to find many lower rank sites and place link there to get the same effect..

    hi ansh,

    to get quality back links from websites you can do the following

    1. forum posts (have the anchor text in your signature).
    2. blog commenting.
    3. article submission. (have the anchor text in the resource box).
    4. you can also submit your content to different blogs but for that you will have to ask the blog owner. :)

    when you are doing this small things try to check the PR of the webpage & if you have a back-link from a high PR website which is do-follow then it will pass the PR juice to your webpage also. ;)

    But most of the blog owners are not allowing you to submit the duplicate content as posts,Since Google panda playing with the traffic.You can submit fresh content that will surely benefit you.But before submit ,as ashishek said you should check pagerank and whether the blog is dofollow or nofollow..

    Make more quality and high page page ranked backlinks for your site. Try social bookmarking, press release, guest posting, forum marketing to build quality backlinks. the more you can build quality links, the greater possibility to get good rank.

    You can easily increase your ranking with more backlinks, and profile links seems the best way to do this.
