No you do not just use either a diffrent shared hosting provider who allows you to use there name servers, or a diffrent dns provider for instance easydns.com.
ProxyHost.us is Now Open Hello everyone, I'm proud to announce the release of my latest project, a new hosting service that provides excellent value for money to all proxy webmasters. I've had a lot of experience in the proxy business, creating up a successful network over the years and want to offer something back. Over time I have built up my knowledge of proxy scripts and how to effectively manage dedicated servers. I remember it was tough to find reliable proxy hosting in the early years, although thats been remedied I still think there's room for another one who goes the extra mile. What plans do we offer? There are currently four hosting plans on offer, although we will gladly cater to any requirement. The plans are the Starter, Standard, Super and Master plans. They have been carefully crafted to offer the best value to you. Included below is a brief breakdown of the first two packages, our hosting plans page lists them all. Starter Plan - $4.95 Storage Space: 1,000 MB Bandwidth: 50 GB Total Websites: 3 Standard Plan - $9.95 Storage Space: 2,500 MB Bandwidth: 100 GB Total Websites: 10 All plans are protected with our advanced stand alone hardware firewall. We currently offer four domain extensions for purchase with proxy hosting at a flat rate of $12.99 per year. You can also purchase additional I.P addresses for your sites at a cost of $1.50 each. All customers are covered by a 7 day, no questions asked, money back guarantee on all hosting plans so it really is risk free. The dedicated servers we use are based in a secured Chicago, Illinois datacenter. What are you waiting for? You can visit our website or send us an email for more information.

Just to let you guys know, I have just finished a proxy list @ FreeProxySites.biz so feel free to submit your sites to get some needed proxy traffic during these summer holidays!
Can someone please suggest the best way for me to get fresh proxies to send mails through Craigslist? I'm willing to do paid, but I am finding the various services confusing.
You are right, it is a do or die situation. Proxy is very good for SEO, but is bad as well like you said. Try to visit a anything with "proxy" in the URL at my work, it will say "Proxies are not allowed"
I think web proxies might be harder to get working for what you want. I'd suggest you use socks proxies (IP/Port number, and change browser settings) they're free but not so reliable. Or use a vpn service (best bet imo), costs yes but greater reliabilty and flexability. You can use ones that you change browser network settings or load up a program in your system tray and can be switched on or off as needed. Google has the answers, you might even get lucky and find a free one, they do exist. The one I used to use has shut down now (privacy gateway) and been taken over by privacy-pro.com, but I haven't tried them so can't say if they're any good or not. There are some cheap and some expensive ones so it pays to shop around to find the best fit for your needs.
Feel free to submit your proxies to these proxies lists sites for free link exchange... http://unblockbook.info/?page_id=430 http://quickproxies.com/proxy-lists/ http://unblocked.biz/?page_id=491 http://anonymousonline.info/?page_id=977 http://anonymousnow.info/?page_id=1502 http://anonymousdomain.info/?page_id=606 http://anonymouscitizens.info/?page_id=817#addlink http://anonymousblog.info/?page_id=1014#addlink I will update this list in future. Link exchanges are for proxies only. Non-proxy websites are actively monitored and removed. Also non-working proxy sites will be removed from lists.
Just to get the ball rolling, You don't need to have a back link on your proxies to FreeProxySites.biz when you submit them....
Nearly 2 days after the end of my vacations and i have great news guys! First of all , the css bug that was noticed sometime ago on the IE is now fixed.(Thanks to UncleP for that report!) (I'm not sure what else IE will bring up but at least for now it's working like a charm ) Secondly and most important, this weekend i will try to finish the new api connection between ProxyNoid's core and Will's script. For those who are interested into testing the already made api for the Proxy List Script let me know (send me a pm, the api is ready but needs some beta testers ) Third to my list , as the summer comes to an end (at least for this year...) ProxyNoid is going to give away a new coupon code for all the ProxyWebmasters who want to start the new season with an extra boost Last but not least, did i mention that all the Proxy List owners can now earn from ProxyNoid (that's relative with the second part of my post)? I hope all of you guys had a great summer and amazing vacations. Time to start working on our proxies again, don't you think? pm me for more info if you would like to know how you could earn extra $$ from your proxy lists
