South Africa’s young paceman Wayne Parnell has turned into islam. according to Parrnell's agent Donne Commins, Parnell’s conversion came after a period of personal study and reflection in January this year and the decision to make it public seemed apt considering Muslims around the world are currently observing the holy month of Ramazan. “As I am approaching my first period of fasting, I ask that this special time is treated with respect. I am a young man, a professional cricketer by trade, and while I can appreciate and am grateful for the public interest in my personal life" “While I have not yet decided on an Islamic name, I have considered the name Waleed which means Newborn Son, but for now, my name remains Wayne Dillon Parnell,†the 21-year-old said in a statement released by Cricket South Africa on Thursday.
Caring (good or bad) about the religion of someone else is an exercise in pointlessness in my opinion. Someone's religion is between them and their God.
well.. when i said anything bad about other religion.? just shared it for information purpose only. and their is nothing bad words used against any other religion in this topic.
I didn't say that it was bad... I just said it's pointless to care either way (good OR bad). Someone's religion is between them and God, not you and them.
Does anyone know the IQ required to be part of *any* religion? lol http://www.southparkstudios.com/clips/104253/joseph-smith-part-1
What the heck you are talking about? Islam is the only true religion, all other religions are man-made stinking pile of lie!! Do you know that there are 500 different ways to re-invent the wheel in Quran!! Amazing, isn't it?
Threads like this make me ask myself a question. Why is the poster starting such a thread? What does he want to accomplish with it? Is there any true value in the thread? One of the answers is: Probably he is insecure about his religion and is looking for a confirmation from somebody else about his religion’s truthfulness. Another one is: he is trying to advertise his bilief system. No, problem with that as long as the product is the best quality--meaining Divine. Regarding the value of the thread-- IMO it is questionable. If you don’t convert yourself into becoming a good, reasonable, and loving person the conversion to any religion is nothing, but a useless show and a waste of time and effforts. (Best wishes to the convert.)
Yep . Imagine a world where everyone STFU about religion and doesn't waste pentabyte after pentabyte posting and promoting brain washing propaganda . Also just think of how many forests would be saved if religious propaganda (atheist included) books and paper campaigns would not hit the printer . It's a cause worth 30 grand easily .
I wouldn't pay you a cent . You're not even close to people that spam AdWords with stuff "Convert to ..." "The truth by..." and "How to convert to *insert crap here* in 5 easy steps" . OFC as an atheist you got a bit easier job all you need to do is get rich by selling *mind opening* book to the idiot masses in other words copy Niche mix it with yahoo science news and some liberal political material and start the printer . I would then pay you 1 cent (the one you sent me last time) .
Nope, I don't find that close to my taste for two reasons. 1) I hate writing. 2) I don't really care what people 'believe' in. I don't ask people to open their mind or believe in what I believe. If someone believes in God, good for them. I only care when people come to me and claim that they 'know' that god is real, or ask me what I think about God and/or some religion (That includes making threads on a public forum). I don't care when they keep their belief to themselves. You wont see me walking down to anyone and asking - "Hey, do you believe in God? Hey, God is just imaginary, why do you believe in God? " (or making a thread, telling the world that I'm an atheist and God is not real". What cent? PS: I'm not a liberal. I would call myself a moderate leaning towards conservative side [more than often] (Now an atheist leaning towards right wing conservatives? Talk about weird political association, huh?)
